Ocala, Florida is located about halfway between Gainesville and Orlando and is a beautiful country area where oak trees and rolling hills abound. Ocala is the capital of Florida’s thoroughbred industry as well as ranching and horse breeding. Home of the World Equestrian Center, slated to open in 2021, which will offer a world class equestrian sport venue, on over 378 acres and is designed to offer the ultimate competition experience for both horse and rider. The Chi Institute, known for Chinese Traditional Veterinary Medicine is located nearby in Reddick. Ocala National Forest is home to more than 600 lakes, rivers and springs where visitors can swim in crystalline waters year round. Ocala has attractive tree-lined streets and old southern style homes giving it a southern city feel.
